Meet our hens : Butter/Smoky/Bridge/Strips!
BUTTER
Butter is the leader of the group. She isn’t very brave when it comes to human interaction but is very fast. When there is food, she is the first one to come over and wins over everyone. Biggest in size from their younger days and most of the time the other chicks follow her wherever she goes. She is also a very messy eater..
STRIPE
Stripe is a very friendly girl. She is not afraid of human hands and let us pet her in many cases. She is always the first one to jump onto hands and explore what you’re offering to feed them. To tell the difference between Stripes and Bridge, look at the feathers on their backs, this is the easiest way to tell them apart. Stripes has the lighter color of feathers, while Bridge has the darker color.
BRIDGE
Bridge used to have darker stipe in the middle of her back and that’s how she got her name. She has beautiful eyes in the shade of a dirty spring green. She is the one to follow Stripes more than the others and tends to be second in what Stripes does. She also is more wary of people than most of the other chicks but Butter is the first on that.
SMOKEY
Smoky is a very shy girl. She was the smallest among four and always the last to be fed. She got seemingly more active as she grew but still very careful and reserved. She may be one of the friendlier chicks but still gets nervous around many people. She’s the youngest of the four but fits in relatively well.
